ArmInfo.Former chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, former Head of Military Control Service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Movses Hakobyan said that he had made a decision to leave his post on October 5.
According to Hakobyan, he decided that he should not leave in the midst of the war, thus, he would harm the Armed Forces.
"All this time, I continued to fulfill my official duties. The final decision was made after the post of Prime Minister on Facebook, where he urged the military to come to Yerevan and deal with people who are "whining under the walls." "He meant people who are protesting and demanding his resignation," Hakobyan said.
He also noticed that during the 44 days of the war, disinformation was spreading. "In fact, one of the tasks of the information center is to mislead the enemy, however, the percentage of information that does not correspond to reality should not exceed 30%. In our case, inaccurate information was 100%. Hence, conflicting information arose that influenced the course and the result lost war," Hakobyan stressed.
