ArmInfo. We will continue to seek the resignation of the Armenian Prime Minister by all legal means. The head of the "Bright Armenia" faction Edmon Marukyan stated this at a November 19 briefing.
The MP said that for the umpteenth time the ruling My Step faction did not attend the meeting of the Council of Parliament, thus failing the opposition's proposal to convene an extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly to abolish martial law and express a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Pashinyan.
"We are very upset that our colleagues are failing all our initiatives. However, this will not force us to surrender. We will continue to come up with an initiative to hold an extraordinary meeting. I want to emphasize that the opposition acts exclusively within the framework of the law," the MP stressed.
According to Marukyan, the leader who signed the surrender document must leave. "We need a new leader who will be able to achieve decisions that are most beneficial for the Armenian side during the negotiations. We need to do this as soon as possible. Just think, we gave Azerbaijan several villages in Martakert region, which were assigned to the Aghdam region. Perhaps, under a different leader, we would have been able to preserve these villages, which, according to the administrative division of Artsakh, belonged to the Martakert region. Similar questions will appear in the future, and Pashinyan will not be able to solve them, "the MP concluded.
