Artak Davtyan resigned as Chairman of Military Industry Committee of  Armenia

ArmInfo.By the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Artak Davtyan has been relieved of the post of Chairman of the Military Industry Committee  of Armenia. This is reported on the website of the RA Government.  To  recall, during the hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh  conflict, Davtyan coordinated the defense of the Syunik region of  Armenia.

Davtyan has been appointed Chairman of the Military Industry  Committee  of  RA this year, shortly after he was dismissed from the  post of head of the RA Armed Forces General Staff. The resignation  from this post followed after it turned out that Davtyan's son had a  lavish wedding during quarantine regime.
