ArmInfo.Against the background of a socio-political crisis, the West is trying to sow discord in the work of such integration organizations as the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), said Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
"The current course of development of the international situation confirms the correctness of the conclusions that the West-centric world order is collapsing and replaced by multipolarity. Look what is happening in the United States of America, which is going through a very deep socio-political crisis," Naryshkin said in an interview with RIA News.
"Individual countries have learned to their full extent what international terrorism is, and this problem in these countries is largely due to an incorrect, ill-considered migration policy. And, it would seem, the Americans, the Europeans should sort things out in their home. But no, they are still trying to wreak havoc in other regions of the world, "Naryshkin added.
According to him, the West is especially frightened by the integration processes in the small Eurasian space.
"Their understanding of their own security, the Americans' understanding of their own security does not fit the existence of truly sovereign and independent states in this space, and even more so positively developing integration organizations," Naryshkin stressed. According to him, we are talking about such structures as the EAEU, SCO and CSTO, which are part of the global international architecture. "And, of course, they are trying to bring discord into the activities of these integration associations and try to disrupt the course of processes in the countries that are close to us, which together with us form the basis of these associations, these organizations, which I mentioned," Naryshkin said.
