


ArmInfo. As part of the fact-finding mission by the human rights defender, it was established that as a result of the shelling of peaceful settlements by Azerbaijan, one person was killed and another was injured.
Thus, according to the Ombudsman's office, on November 1, in the Khnushinak community of the Martuni region, one civilian- 53-year-old Armo Avetisyan, and in the village of Arachadzor, Martakert region, 67-year-old Serezha Tsatryan was wounded by a shell explosion.
The Ombudsman of Artsakh states that, constantly violating the provisions of international humanitarian law, Azerbaijan shells civilian settlements and infrastructure of Artsakh.
"To this day, the armed forces of Azerbaijan in Artsakh have killed at least 46 people and wounded at least 142 civilians," the press service of the Artsakh Ombudsman's office reported. Besides, in addition to a humanitarian catastrophe, Azerbaijan provokes an environmental one by using incendiary weapons in a wooded area.

Earlier it was reported that as a result of the use of prohibited weapons by Azerbaijan, at least 150 hectares of forest were burned down.
