Thus, the statement of the French diplomatic mission notes that the French embassy in Armenia is closely following the development of the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, where hostilities resumed on September 27, which directly affects families, relatives, friends and acquaintances in Armenia. Pointing to the importance of following the recommendations of the Armenian authorities in connection with the situation, the diplomatic mission stressed that the French Embassy regularly posts recommendations or information on its website and on social networks about the rules of conduct, including in the event of an air raid, as well as regarding travel in Armenia.
The embassy recommends that the French living in Armenia limit their travels, and the French, passing through the territory of the Republic of Armenia, to wait for their return to France.
At the same time, the embassy recommended that compatriots planning trips to Armenia postpone them, and reminded that within the framework of martial law and general mobilization, all citizens of Armenia aged 18 to 55, including those with French citizenship, have no right to leave the RA. and can be mobilized into the army at any time.
