Armenian Emergencies Minister held a meeting with heads of  telecommunication companies of Armenia

ArmInfo.Emergency Situations Minister Felix Tsolakyan met with the heads of telecommunication companies of Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the  Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

According to the source, General Director of Viva Sell-MTS ARMENIA  CJSC Ralph Yirikian, General Director of Telecommunication Company  UCOM CJSC Ara Khachatryan, General Director of VEON ARMENIA CJSC  Andrey Pyatakhin took part in the meeting.

Minister Tsolakyan, stressing the importance of cooperation with  companies, stressed the need to expand cooperation in the field of  civil defense in specific areas. In particular, he emphasized the  problems of digitizing the 911 service, modernizing alarm systems, as  well as applying the latest solutions in the process of informing the  population.

The heads of the companies expressed their readiness to discuss on  the spot the technical capabilities of the latest solutions and offer  interesting options.
