ArmInfo.Norwegian Stortinget (Parliament) will consider limiting arms exports to Turkey.
Speaking on the eve of October 22 in parliament, a deputy from the Red Party, a member of the Standing Commission on Financial and Economic Affairs and a member of the Expanded Commission on Foreign Affairs and Defense, Bjornar Moxnes (Moxnes, Bjornar) raised the issue of exporting Norwegian weapons to Turkey.
"Norway cannot sit idly by when its NATO ally Turkey is contributing to a new humanitarian catastrophe, due to which tens of thousands of people are fleeing Nagorno-Karabakh. While Erdogan supplies Azerbaijan with weapons, drones and mercenaries from Syria, Norway must stop all sales of weapons and defense equipment to Turkey, "the MP said.
