ArmInfo.Armenia was ready and is now ready for a peaceful settlement of the Artsakh conflict. The press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan Mane Gevorgyan wrote about this on her Facebook page.
Gevorgyan, noted: "In his today's speech, the Prime Minister stressed that Armenia was always ready for a compromise solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and is ready for this today. The Prime Minister also expressed his readiness to meet with the President of Azerbaijan in Moscow. Armenia was ready and ready for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and highly appreciates the mediation efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, in particular, the Russian Federation. Azerbaijan considers military force to be the main factor in resolving the issue and continues to violate ceasefire agreements.
In accordance with this, the Armenian people must strengthen their defense potential in order to be able to defend their voice in the diplomatic arena. We emphasize once again that at this stage the Nagorno- Karabakh problem does not have a diplomatic solution as a result of Azerbaijan's destructive position. Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly stressed that the Armenian side is ready for a negotiation process based on a compromise, but practice has shown that this logic is unacceptable for Azerbaijan.
Let me also recall the Prime Minister's thesis that the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be acceptable for the people of Armenia, the people of Artsakh, the people of Azerbaijan. There was no such statement, including about compromises, by Aliyev>.
