ArmInfo.Armenians continue protest actions in different parts of the world because of the passive reaction of the international community to Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh.
So, today hundreds of Armenians, with the support of foreigners, held a protest in Prague on the Charles Bridge and condemned the military operations of Azerbaijan and Turkey against Artsakh and Armenia.
The protesters demanded from the authorities of different countries to impose sanctions against Azerbaijan and Turkey, and to recognize the independence of Artsakh. The protesters wore medical masks with the names of different countries written on them. In their hands they held banners with the inscriptions: "Artsakh is strong", "Czech Republic, speak up", "A small country is fighting for survival", "Stop Aliyev", "Peace to Armenians", "Armenians are fighting against terrorism." The demonstrators stood in two rows on the bridge, 547 meters long.
A protest action took place in London today. Several hundred Armenians held a protest action in front of the BBC's office, demanding objective coverage of the situation in the conflict zone.
The participants were holding flags of Armenia and banners with the inscriptions “BBC - tell the truth”, “Stop replicating Azerbaijani and Turkish lies”, “Shame on the BBC”, “Down with Turkey from NATO”, “Your silence is our death”, “Stop the Turkish -Azerbaijan aggression ”and so on.
In the morning, the Armenians also blocked a major highway leading from France to Spain.
A protest action took place in Israel as well. So the protesters protested against the sale of weapons to Azerbaijan. According to the plan, the protesters made a rally from Haifa to Jerusalem, and then held a rally outside the Knesset building.
The cars participating in the rally were decorated with the colors of the national flag of Armenia. The meeting was attended by members of the Armenian community of Israel. They were also joined by representatives of the Armenian clergy.
However, in Israel, the protest action, which was attended by about 300 people, was not as peaceful as in other countries, since Azerbaijanis attacked peaceful demonstrators.
This happened after the end of the action, when representatives of the community were on their way from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, the Azerbaijanis blocked the road and began to attack single cars with Armenian flags, beat passengers and destroy cars. The police arrived at the scene, as well as an ambulance.
