ArmInfo. The ceasefire agreements reached in Moscow in Nagorno-Karabakh are not fully observed. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this on October 12, opening negotiations with his Armenian counterpart Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, and stating that this planned visit is taking place in the light of the efforts of many members of the international community to unblock the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
"Last Friday and Saturday, at least part of Saturday, we spent here, in this building, together with our Azerbaijani counterpart. An important agreement was reached at the initiative of President Putin. We see that this agreement is not fully observed yet and the fighting continues," Lavrov said.
Moscow expects, according to Lavrov, that the contacts between Russia and Armenia and Azerbaijani neighbors, including through the Ministry of Defense, will contribute to the full implementation of the agreements on the Karabakh settlement, agreed on Saturday night in Moscow in a trilateral format.
He also added that in addition to this hot topic, it is planned to consider the entire spectrum of the agenda of bilateral relations, participation in various integration associations, as well as interaction in international organizations, including within the UN and OSCE.
It should be noted that despite the agreements reached between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan with the mediation of Russia on the establishment of a ceasefire for humanitarian purposes in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which entered into force on October 10 at 12:00 local time, the enemy continues to provoke different parts of the front line, including striking civilian settlements and infrastructures. At night, the enemy again struck at the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert. The Ombudsman of Artsakh reported yesterday that at least 5 civilians of Artsakh have died since the ceasefire came into force.
