Defense Army: The enemy intensively uses the UAVs in the southern  direction of the front

According to the press service of Artsakh DefenseArmy, the  subdivisions of the Defense Army repulse all enemy attacks,  inflicting heavy losses in personnel and UAVs. "The enemy is  insidiously trying to change the situation before the ceasefire  announced for humanitarian purposes from 12:00 on October 10. The  units of the Artsakh Defense Army are ready to suppress the offensive  intentions of the enemy," the Artsakh military department said.

It should be noted that yesterday, in Moscow on the 12th day of  hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict, a meeting  of the foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of  Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia took place. The meeting took  place at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin and  lasted more than 10 hours, ending at about 3 hours Moscow time.  Following the meeting, the ministers issued a joint statement, in  which, in particular, they agreed:

1. A ceasefire is declared from 12:00 pm on October 10, 2020 for  humanitarian purposes for the exchange of prisoners of war and other  detained persons and bodies of the dead, mediated and in accordance  with the criteria of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

2. The specific parameters of the ceasefire regime will be agreed  upon additionally.  3. The Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of  Armenia, with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, on the  basis of the basic principles of the settlement, are starting  substantive negotiations with the aim of achieving a peaceful  settlement as soon as possible.

4. The parties confirm the invariability of the format of the  negotiation process. "
