ArmInfo. Artsakh must be recognized and must have a higher degree of security. Now we are in a state of war, and our victory contributes to the international recognition of Artsakh. The head of the parliamentary commission on defense and security Andranik Kocharian stated this at a briefing in the parliament on October 8.
Kocharian also stressed that the time has come for Artsakh to return to the peace negotiating table. "If Artsakh does not continue to take part in the negotiation process, then the negotiations themselves are meaningless. The 1994 ceasefire agreement must be renewed. This is a trilateral agreement, which was signed by Artsakh. Prospects for peace cannot be expected without the participation of Artsakh, "the MP said.
At the same time, Kocharian stressed that Turkey, with its aggressive actions towards Artsakh, is gradually destroying its status as a member of the OSCE Minsk Group.
