Artsakh President: The Army is fully fulfilling its combat mission

ArmInfo. The army is fully fulfilling its combat mission.  Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan stated this in his address to compatriots on October 4.

According to him, everyone - from the commander of the Defense Army,  General Jalal Harutyunyan to ordinary soldiers, is brilliantly coping  with the tasks. "Today I want to say that in the face of this army we have the most professionally trained army in the world," the head of the Artsakh state said, stressing that the military personnel of the Defense Army are fighting for every centimeter of their homeland.

The President said that he signed a decree today on conferring the  title of Hero of Artsakh on five servicemen. Among them, David  Grigoryan, who destroyed 15 enemy tanks and 1 infantry fighting  vehicle in the Fizuli direction, Edgar Markosyan, who destroyed 10  enemy tanks in the Talysh direction, Yuri Alaverdyan, who destroyed 9  tanks in the Fizuli direction, Colonel Shakaryan, who organized a  brilliant defense and inflicted a great damage. David Ghazaryan, who  defended the defensive point heroically, was posthumously awarded the  title of Hero of Artsakh.
