ArmInfo. The French authorities are doing everything possible to resume a dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan in connection with the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. As reported on the website of the French Foreign Ministry, this was announced during today's briefing at the French Foreign Ministry.
"As the President of the republic (Emmanuel Macron, Ed. note) emphasized yesterday during telephone conversations with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the top priority is to stop hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh and return to the dialogue process.
As co-chair of the Minsk Group, France maintains constant contact with the parties with its Russian and American partners. It is doing everything to resume this dialogue and resume the political process, "the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
At the same time, it is noted that France reiterates its mobilization in order to achieve a lasting settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through negotiations in compliance with the norms of international law.
