The head of the committee specified that the text could be prepared for adoption "tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."
As Viktor Vodolatsky, the first deputy chairman of the committee, specified in his turn, we can talk about two calls - to the parliaments of Armenia and Azerbaijan. "We have now been working on this issue. And by the end of the day we will have a decision: either we separately prepare an appeal to each parliament, or it will be joint, to the parliaments of both Armenia and Azerbaijan," he told TASS. After that, the draft or draft documents will be discussed by the Committee on CIS Affairs on Tuesday.
"The general call will be that it is necessary to stop armed clashes, soldiers and especially civilians should not be killed. We need to sit down at the negotiating table, including with the participation of the Russian side. We, parliamentarians, for our part are ready to work out this algorithm with the relevant committees." - added Vodolatsky, stressing that good-neighborly relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan are important for the Russian Federation.
