ArmInfo.Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is conducting intensive contacts in connection with the escalation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh in order to induce all parties to cease fire and begin negotiations. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova announced this to TASS.
"In connection with the aggravation of the situation around the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Lavrov is conducting intensive contacts in order to induce the parties to cease fire and begin negotiations to stabilize the situation," the diplomat said.
To recall, early in the morning of September 27, Azerbaijan began intensive shelling of settlements in Karabakh, including the capital of Stepanakert, going over to the offensive along the entire confrontation line. It is known that the enemy lost two helicopters, three tanks and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles. The enemy also has losses in manpower.
