ArmInfo.Artsakh's right to free self-determination cannot be a bargaining chip under any circumstances, even in case of the threat of the use of force. This is stated in the statement of Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, the press service of the RA National Assembly reports.
As noted in the statement of the Speaker, early in the morning the Azerbaijani authorities unleashed large- scale hostilities along the border of Artsakh, striking even peaceful settlements with the use of large-caliber weapons. The Armenian armed forces, as before, are honorably fulfilling the tasks assigned to them.
"The citizens of the Republic of Armenia and, of course, all Armenians stand for free Artsakh, and are ready to carry out everything, I emphasize, all necessary actions in defense of sovereign Artsakh," Ararat Mirzoyan said in a statement.
To recall, early in the morning of September 27, Azerbaijan began intensive shelling of settlements in Karabakh, including the capital of Stepanakert, going over to the offensive along the entire confrontation line. It is known that the enemy lost two helicopters, three tanks and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles. The enemy also has losses in manpower.
