ArmInfo. I think the time has come to clearly state in the Constitution that people who have serious mental health disorders should not be allowed to hold high government positions. The head of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan wrote about this on his Facebook page. Tsarukyan noted that such people, being in high positions, endanger the country and the safety of citizens.
To note, earlier, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page that it is difficult to disagree with the Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan. The latter said in parliament yesterday that he remembers the fact of rape in Tsarukyan's biography: "The new educational standards will teach the" Kotayk group "to respect their neighbors and the church, to restrain their hormones, thanks to which there will be no more sexual crimes in churches."
Pashinyan addressed Tsarukyan that "you invited women in order to show them the church. Then, being a police sergeant, you raped and robbed a woman on the territory of the church. And then you talk about the protection of national values and national identity. Truly, this is an activity "for the good of the nation".
It should be reminded that in 1979 Gagik Tsarukyan was convicted of rape. After Tsarukyan's announcement that the country's government should resign, screenshots of this criminal case appeared in the newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak", which is headed by the wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Hakobyan. To recall, 22 years later in 2001, Tsarukyan, already an oligarch, was acquitted.
