According to the ministry, some of the applicants take part in the competition for full-time education (free) with full state compensation for tuition fees in the form of student allowances for the bachelor's educational program allocated to the Armenians of the Diaspora. In cooperation with the Commandant's Office, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Armenian Embassy in Georgia, the ministry carried out appropriate work to ensure the entry of Georgian citizens of Armenian nationality into the territory of Armenia without applying the 14-day condition of self-isolation. An agreement was reached with the Georgian authorities on the uninterrupted movement of the above citizens and the organization of entry to the checkpoint. To this end, citizens of Georgia who have received permission to enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia should contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia or the consular section of the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Armenia for information about the checkpoint and the timing of travel.
In order to participate in the Unified State Exam, an online application was submitted by 84 Diaspora Armenians who are foreign citizens (69 from Georgia, 14 from the Russian Federation, 1 from the USA) and 11 RA citizens who are outside the territory of Armenia. With the permission of the Commandant's Office, the above-mentioned applicants have freely entered the territory of Armenia since June 25 to participate in the entrance exams in the first ten days of July. As a result, 17 citizens of Georgia, who took part in the unified exams, entered the higher educational institutions of Armenia.
