ArmInfo. In Artsakh, the state of emergency was extended again due to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan signed the corresponding decree.
According to the press service of the NKR head, on 11 September Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree according to which the term of the emergency situation declared in the republic on 12 April, 2020 and prolonged till 11 September, has been further prolonged for 30 days from 22:00, 11 September, 2020 till 22:00, 11 October, 2020, inclusive.
It should be noted that according to the data of the Artsakh Ministry of Health for September 10, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the republic was 323 people, of which 283 have already recovered. In fact, 38 patients are being treated, another 55 people are isolated. Doctors assess the state of health of 7 patients as serious, 5 as moderate. 97 samples were taken for testing per day. To date, 12,599 samples have been examined.
