ArmInfo.Checkpoints for taking coronavirus tests will be built at Yerevan Zvartnots airport. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan announced this on September 10 at a government meeting.
According to him, it is envisaged that there will be 20 such checkpoints. There are all prerequisites for the development of construction work at an active pace. The presence of these points is necessary to service arriving citizens, including foreign countries. There are no restrictions to enter the country. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that after passing the test and receiving a negative result, all arrivals may not undergo a 14-day quarantine.
In turn, another Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan noted that at the level of the EAEU Armenia intends to raise the issue the resumption of regular flights. Currently, the EAEU does not carry out such flights, and not only air, but also ground. The only exception is ground communication between Russia and Belarus. The main goal of the upcoming discussions should be the development of uniform rules and standards for the resumption of regular flights. And if it is not possible to solve this problem in the near future, then, at least, there is hope for reaching a compromise on the application of uniform standards.
