ArmInfo. Armenia's Defense Minister David Tonoyan received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the RA Pawel Cieplak and newly appointed Defense Attache of the embassy, Colonel Wojciech Wiszniewski.
As the press service of the RA Defense Ministry told ArmInfo, Tonoyan congratulated Wiszniewski on the beginning of his mission in Armenia and wished him fruitful work.
Pointing to the importance of the Armenian-Polish cooperation in the defense sector, the head of the Armenian Ministry of Defense stated with satisfaction that despite the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, at the beginning of September, through joint efforts, it was possible to resume the implementation of the measures envisaged by the bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2020.
In turn, Cieplak announced the readiness of the Polish side to develop cooperation. The parties reached agreements on restoring the dynamics of cooperation. During the meeting, Tonoyan also presented the security challenges developing in the region.
