ArmInfo. The former MP and his son were charged with not declaring property on an especially large scale. According to media reports, the accusation concerns former MP from the Prosperous Armenia party Hrant Davtyan.
According to the Special Investigation Service, H.D. and his son was charged with committing acts provided for in part 2 of article 314.3 of the Criminal Code for concealing data subject to declaration.
According to the prosecution, H.D., in 2018-2019 being a MP of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation, did not include in the declaration submitted on October 1, 2018, data on property in especially large amounts belonging to him by right of ownership, including apartments and land plots in the city of Vagharshapat, Armavir region. In addition, during the preliminary investigation it was substantiated that the son of H.D., being a member of the family of the declarant official, did not include data on the acquisition of real estate and the sale of his car in this tax year in his 2018 declaration, that is, in the manner of hiding property on an especially large scale, subject to declaration.
