ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan expressed his condolences in connection with the death of Czech journalist Dana Mazalova.
"I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of the famous Czech journalist and lawyer Dana Mazalova. She left behind a huge legacy of promoting truth and justice in impartial and professional coverage of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," the Armenian Foreign Minister wrote on his Twitter microblog.
Note that Mazalova was born in Svitavach (Czech Republic).
Graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Charles University in Prague; journalist by profession, former speaker in the former USSR and editor of Czech Television.
He is the author of the documentary film Country near Ararat (about the earthquake in Armenia in December 1988, directed by Milan Maryshka), speaker on the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh. She first visited Armenia in 1982. D. Mazalova is the author of the famous interview with the first president of Azerbaijan Ayaz Mutalibov, published in Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
