On September 1, the program for attracting specialists from the Armenian diaspora "For the cause" was launched, within the first round of which 24 specialists from Canada, Denmark, Russia, Lebanon, France, Norway, Israel, the Netherlands and China arrived in Armenia. This was reported by the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
According to the source, the participants of the first stage of the program started working in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministries of Health, Labor and Social Affairs, Environment, High-tech Industry, Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Economy, Central Bank, Inspection Body Education, Office of the Ombudsman, Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. The Diaspora representatives were presented with the work schedule and their responsibilities, told about the peculiarities of work in government bodies and were given practical advice for quick integration into the environment.
It is reported that due to the restriction of air traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic, the rest of the participants will arrive in Armenia a little later.
