ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan together with Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan visited border posts yesterday.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Artsakh were accompanied by Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan and Minister of Defense - Commander of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh Jalal Harutyunyan. The heads of the two Armenian states were presented with engineering and fortification infrastructures, new technologies for reliable protection, new weapons, work to improve the security of servicemen in the positions of soldiers and technical equipment. Nikol Pashinyan and Arayik Harutyunyan got acquainted with the living conditions of the servicemen and talked with the soldiers.
Then they visited one of the military units of the Defense Army, where they attended the opening of a new canteen. A new food system has also been introduced here. The Prime Minister got acquainted with the menu for military personnel and the quality of food.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed that the process of introducing a new power supply system in the Armed Forces continues successfully. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of the continuous development of the Armed Forces and the military industry, adding that this issue is in the center of attention of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and consistent work is being carried out in this direction.
