ArmInfo. The Dali and Picasso exhibition has been extended due to its high popularity. This is stated in the message of the National Gallery of Armenia.
According to the source, taking into account the high public interest, an agreement was reached with the collector Alexander Shadrin to extend the exhibition for a week, until August 30 inclusive. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia rendered assistance in this matter. "The National Gallery of Armenia expresses its deep gratitude to the collector, philanthropist and chairman of the Art of Nations Foundation Alexander Shadrin," the statement says.
To note, the exhibition opened in March, but after just a few days, the National Gallery was forced to close its doors to visitors due to the situation with the coronavirus. The exhibition resumed its work on August 20, and was to be completed 3 days later, on August 23. Meanwhile, the number of people wishing to visit the exhibition was so great that huge queues lined up in front of the gallery. The exhibition features about 260 exhibits, including graphics and ceramics.
