ArmInfo.On August 22, the 7th international festival of contemporary art and spiritual films "Fresco" started in the border town of Berd, Tavush region.
From August 24, the festival film screenings will continue in the capital, in the territories near the churches of St. Anne and the Holy Mother of God Katoghike. The Fresco program also includes discussions, concerts and online meetings. So, on August 28, a solo concert of the State Dance Ensemble of Armenia is planned, on August 29 - an anniversary concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Ruben Hakhverdyan, and on August 30 - a concert by Jivan Gasparyan and friends. All activities will be carried out in compliance with all anti-epidemiological measures.
This year more than 3 thousand applications from 85 countries were received for participation in "Fresco"; 63 paintings from 23 countries were selected for the competition program. The festival of contemporary art and spiritual films will end on September 1.
The festival is held with the assistance of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the RA and the Round Table Foundation.
