ArmInfo. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a working trip to the Kotayk region of Armenia, visited the Geghashen community on August 18.
The head of government inspected the newly built kindergarten, which, according to officials, is scheduled to open in October this year. Geghashen, with a population of 4,350, has never had a kindergarten, it is being built for the first time, which will enable 140 children to attend this preschool facility. Currently, renovations are underway in the courtyard of the kindergarten, a playground is being built, engineering networks are being laid. The work is being carried out with 50/50 state co- financing.
Then the Prime Minister got acquainted with the work carried out in the Geghashen Cultural Center, in the music school. The subprogram of gasification and installation of heating systems for these institutions continues. The center will have departments of song, dance and painting, there is a gym, and with the co-financing of an investor, a modern library is being built. The subsidy program is implemented with the participation of the community and the state in the amount of 70/30%.
In total, 14 kindergartens are being built or renovated in Kotayk region with the help of subsidy programs this year.
