ArmInfo. On 6 August Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan chaired the regular sitting of the Commandant Office, the press service of Artsakh President reports.
Heads and responsible officials of corresponding institutions delivered reports on republic's current pandemic situation.
Artsakh Republic Commandant, Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Zhirayr Mirzoyan noted in his speech that sharp reduction in the number of citizens infected with the novel coronavirus has been registered in recent days due to consistent realization of measures aimed at preventing the spread of the virus. According to the Commandant, taking into consideration the absence of new sickness cases the restrictions on movement of inhabitants of Martakert region's Haterq community and Askeran region's Aygestan community will be soon lifted.
The Head of the State rated positively the course of the fight against the pandemic, instructing to continue taking measures towards preventing the pandemic and complying with epidemiological requirements. President Harutyunyan also approved the offer of the Commandant, according to which in coming days the conduct of public events with limited number of people will be reviewed, allowing presence of 60 people instead of 20.
The Republic's President underlined that for avoiding negative outcomes a slight easing of restrictions must unconditionally be accompanied by tightening the control at all levels and gave corresponding instructions to the heads of concerned bodies.
