ArmInfo. Former head of the National Security Service of Armenia, head of the <Hayrenik> party Artur Vanetsyan did not rule out that in the near future he will hold meetings with all political forces. Vanetsyan said this on July 31 in an interview with reporters.
Vanetsyan, in particular, said that recently there was information that he met with the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, however, this information does not correspond to reality. "However, I do not exclude that in the near future there will be meetings with representatives of various political forces, including former presidents Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan and Levon Ter-Petrosyan," the former head of the National Security Service stressed.
To the remark of the journalists that, being the head of the NSS, Vanetsyan accused the second and third presidents of Armenia of corruption, the head of the <Hayrenik>party said that political processes involve meetings with representatives of various forces.
According to him, active political processes will take place in the country in the near future. "The authorities have failed their work in all areas, and now the country is in a very difficult situation. We are facing the danger of a crisis in health care, the economy and in other areas. However, the country's leadership, instead of solving these problems, is trying to silence the opposition", Vanetsyan concluded.
To note, this morning Artur Vanetsyan was summoned to the NSS of Armenia. He became a defendant in a violation case during a personnel appointment. It is assumed that, as the head of the National Security Service, Vanetsyan violated Article 16 of the law "On the National Security Bodies". The article contains a list of responsibilities of representatives of national security agencies.
