ArmInfo.MP from the "My Step" faction Hayk Sargsyan apologized for not wearing a mask. On his Facebook page, Sargsyan informed that yesterday he was photographed on the Sevan beach without a mask, and this photo caused a stir and misinterpretations of the situation. The MP admitted that, although he himself had repeatedly called on citizens to wear mask, but he himself, did not wear a mask carelessly.
In this regard, he apologized, adding that the circulated rumors that this beach allegedly belongs to him, and that he is also the organizer of the event held there yesterday, do not correspond to reality. Today, according to Sargsyan, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up in connection with the fact that he and the citizens present at the mentioned event were without masks. "I also apologize to the commandant and our political team for the fact that, through negligence, I gave rise to such a big and inappropriate noise," he added. To recall, on the streets and in closed rooms, citizens, in connection with the situation with the coronavirus, are required to wear a mask. An exception is made for people with chronic diseases that are accompanied by respiratory failure. The fine for not wearing a mask is 10 thousand AMD.
