On the occasion of the National Day of France, Armenian President Armen Sargsyan sent a congratulation to Emmanuel Macron.
In particular, in his message, the head of state emphasized that Armenia and France were able to establish effective cooperation in almost all areas of mutual interest. <Armenia is interested in expanding and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation with France through new initiatives and programs for the benefit of our countries and peoples. I am sure that by joint efforts we will replenish the bilateral agenda with programs aimed at the future and representing mutual interest>, noted Armen Sargsyan.
At the same time, he emphasized that Armenia appreciates the consistent efforts of France to peacefully resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, as well as to establish long-term peace in the South Caucasus region. At the same time, the President of Armenia noted that France's efforts to save lives and mitigate the effects of the pandemic are worthy of special appreciation.
