ArmInfo. A criminal case has been opened in the Investigative Committee (IC) of Armenia on the fact of shelling of the Tavush branch of the State Border Service of the Police of Armenia.
This was reported by the press service of the IC. According to the source, on July 13 at 9:20 am in order to intentionally kill two or more people, and to intentionally destroy property in the direction of a guard post near the Tavush reservoir shots were fired by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. As a result, two policemen of the Tavush police department of the Police of Armenia were injured.
A criminal case has been instituted in the Investigative Committee of Armenia on 34-104 (Attempted murder - Ed. note) and 185 (Intentional destruction or damage to property - Ed. note) articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Another criminal case was opened in the IC of Armenia on the fact of shelling of the village of Chinari in the Tavush region of Armenia by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. According to the source, on June 13 at 3:10 pm in order to intentionally kill people and deliberately destroy property, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired on the house of one of the residents of the village of Chinari. As a result, the house was damaged, and a resident of this house and his family took refuge in a shelter, as a result of which the crime was not brought to an end.
