ArmInfo. An infection department will be built in Vanadzor with funds from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development. The head of the RA Ministry of Health Arsen Torosyan said this on his Facebook page.
"The construction of an infection department for 30 plus 15 beds will be funded by the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development, with which negotiations are currently underway on the details of the program," the minister informed.
The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development is a regional financial mechanism with a volume of $ 8.513 billion, which was established in 2009 by Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. The Fund was created in order to overcome the negative crisis consequences, ensure long-term sustainability and facilitate the integration of the economies of the Fund's member states.
To add, earlier Torosyan reported that in the near future, with the assistance of the World Bank, the construction of the Martuni medical center will begin. It is also planned to announce a tender for the construction of a medical center in the Vayots Dzor region. At the same time, both hospitals will comply with all international standards.
