ICRC continues to assist Artsakh in combating COVID-19

ArmInfo. The mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Artsakh presented the healthcare system 57 functional medical beds with mattresses, pillows and blankets. It is reported by the Information Headquarters.

The organization also provided over 20 tripods for droppers, a batch  of chlorine powder and gloves. The aim of this assistance is to  support the health system as a whole. It can also help improve the  preparedness of treatment facilities to counter the COVID-19  epidemic. In response to the outbreak of coronavirus, the ICRC has  made medical care one of its priorities. A number of hospitals, as  well as the Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene, have received  personal protective equipment, disinfectants, hygiene items, washing  and drying machines from the ICRC to combat the spread of  coronavirus.  To note, according to data on June 23, 103 cases of  coronavirus were detected in Artsakh, 65 patients recovered.
