ArmInfo. The European Union is ready to assist Armenia in raising the level of flight safety. This was stated during a video meeting of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan with the EU Ambassador to Armenia, Ms. Andrea Victorin.
Expressing gratitude to the EU for its assistance in the fight against a new type of coronavirus, Papikyan emphasized that the crisis situation creates the prerequisites for strengthening long-term partnerships. In particular, during the conversation, the parties touched upon further cooperation aimed at reforming the field of civil aviation in Armenia, and measures to address safety gaps.

Recall that on the eve of the European Committee on flight safety once again updated the list of airlines on which are subject to prohibitions or operational restrictions in the skies of the European Union, known as the " EU safety list ". Air carriers that have received certificates in Armenia are included in this list. In particular, all companies certified in RA are included in the restricted list: Aircompany Armenia, Armenia Airways, Armenian Helicopters, Atlantis Armenian Airlines, Atlantis European Airways, Mars Avia, Skyball .
