ArmInfo. There is no sense denying the existence of an information war in Armenia, moreover, disinformation during the coronavirus began to spread very actively. On June 12, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a special meeting of the National Assembly of Armenia.
Pashinyan informed that he instructed law enforcement agencies to create a working group and find distributors of misinformation.
He told about a strange incident. A woman has got in a taxi, called to a watches brand store, and deliberately loudly declared that she was an employee of the Prime Minister's office and was waiting for information about the watches that had been ordered for the Prime Minister for $ 35,000. After which the woman promised to send the amount of money and got out of the taxi. Such behavior seemed suspicious to the taxi driver, and he followed the woman who had moved to another taxi. <All this is a manifestation of the information war. Obviously, this is an organized activity. Law enforcers should find out exactly who is involved in the dissemination of misinformation, and give an appropriate assessment >, Pashinyan emphasized.
