ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent congratulatory messages on the occasion of Russian Day to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
As the press service of Armenia's PM informs told ArmInfo the message to Putin, in particular reads: "This holiday is inextricably linked with the political, socio-economic achievements of the Russian Federation and the strengthening of its role in the international arena. The allied relations between Armenia and Russia continue to develop steadily for the benefit of the peoples of our countries, and cooperation in almost all areas of the Armenian-Russian cooperation is being strengthened and expanded.
The centuries-old history of friendship and trust, strong brotherly ties that bind our peoples, are a solid foundation for constructive cooperation and mutual support not only at the bilateral level, but also within the framework of international organizations and integration unions.
I sincerely hope that in the near future our countries will be able to overcome the temporary difficulties of unprecedented global challenges and threats, and we will be able to restore traditional close contacts. "
The message to Mishustin, in turn, reads: "This holiday reflects the thousand-year history of the statehood of Russia, the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the country and the subsequent creative work aimed at the development and prosperity of the country, as well as strengthening its role in the international arena.
Centuries-old Armenian-Russian allied relations based on friendship between our peoples are reflected on international platforms, especially within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union in the form of a constructive and mutually beneficial strategic partnership.
We can record with satisfaction the consistent strengthening of cooperation between our countries in the trade, economic, energy, military-political, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
I hope that the epidemiological situation in the world will be resolved in the near future, which will allow us to fully resume close ties for the implementation of new ideas and initiatives.
