ArmInfo. To date, 403 patients  infected with coronavirus are in serious condition, another 94 in extremely serious condition. On June 8, RA Minister of Health Arsen  Torosyan stated this during a briefing.

At the same time, he added that in the last days of the situation, in  terms of the number of severe patients, it is stable, and remains at  a mark slightly above 400 people.

He also touched on today's rates of the number of infected people,  noting that there were such people on the morning of June 8, 195  people. However, according to the minister, this is a mechanical  figure, and you should not lose vigilance, since the day before the  largest coronavirus testing laboratory was on prevention, and testing  was carried out in smaller volumes.

Torosyan also emphasized that during the pandemic, unprecedented  mobilization work was carried out in the healthcare system of the  Republic of Armenia over the past decades, and a bed fund (about 2000  beds) was built from scratch. According to him, actions in this  direction continue and regional medical centers are already involved.  He stated that 100 beds were installed in the medical center of Vedi,  another 100 in the medical center of Spitak, Dilijan - 50, Martuni -  40, and the bed fund in Yerevan is also expanding. In conclusion, the  Minister once again called on citizens to comply with  anti-epidemiological measures.  According to the data at 11:00 on  June 8, a low number of new cases of coronavirus infection was  detected in Armenia - 195, due to the fact that the National Center  for Disease Control and Prevention was closed for disinfection on  June 7, as a result of which its laboratory was not able to conduct  tests in normal volume. Another 85 patients recovered. According to  the Unified Information Center, according to data on Sunday morning,  an unprecedentedly high level of infections was recorded - 766 cases.  10 people died, 294 people recovered.

In total, 13,325 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the republic,  4,099 people recovered, 211 died.  Over the last day, the disease  claimed the lives of 11 people aged 52 to 88; all had accompanying  chronic diseases. Currently, 8943 patients are receiving actual  treatment. In total, 70 thousand tests for coronavirus were conducted  in the republic.
