ArmInfo. Armenia ranked 81st among 200 countries of the world, in the security rating for COVID-19 and risk assessment.
The rating compiled by the Deep Knowledge Group is based on 130 qualitative and quantitative parameters, taking into account factors such as the effectiveness of quarantine measures, monitoring, and diagnostics. As a result, Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Japan entered the top five. The top ten is closed by Austria, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.
Of the countries of the South Caucasus, Georgia ranked 39th, Azerbaijan - 75th, Armenia - 81st. Turkey was in 37th place, the United States in 58th, Russia in 61st, Belarus in 63rd, Ukraine in 66th, Kazakhstan in 71st, and Iran in 73rd. Moldova ranked 82nd, Kyrgyzstan - 108th, Uzbekistan - 121st, Tajikistan - 124th, Turkmenistan - 131st. The most insecure countries were Afghanistan, the Republic of Chad, Mali, Rwanda and Sudan.
In total, 13325 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, 4099 people recovered, 211 died. Currently, 8943 patients are receiving treatment.
