A few days ago, a telephone conversation took place between Prime Ministers Giorgi Gakharia and Nikol Pashinyan. Communication is also carried out at the level of individual ministers. Today, the foreign ministers of Georgia and Armenia exchanged information on the current situation in the countries in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic. David Zalkaliani expressed solidarity to the Armenian side in connection with the situation in Armenia as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and on behalf of the Georgian government once again expressed readiness to provide assistance>, the ministry said, Georgia-Online reports.
It should be noted that the Georgian side has already expressed its readiness to assist Armenia in the fight against the pandemic, however, then, Prime Minister Ra Nikol Pashinyan said that if the need for assistance arises, Yerevan will turn to Tbilisi. Then Pashinyan noted that so far there is no such need.
