ArmInfo.Doctors from Noyemberyan report that they became infected with the coronavirus, but they are not given the opportunity to pass the test. On June 4, Naira Zohrabyan, a lawmaker from the Prosperous Armenia faction, stated this from the rostrum of the parliament.
''Doctors say that they got sick, and despite this, with a temperature they go to the hospital every day and provide the patients with the necessary help. We are going to hold a closed meeting and find out on what the money donated to the fund to fight against coronavirus were spent> the MP emphasized.
Zohrabyan also noted that when the coronavirus pandemic began, the opposition put forward its proposals on how to deal with this virus, however, the authorities ignored all the proposals. <The ruling faction stated that all our proposals are not suitable, and the government itself will take measures to help keep the situation under control. And today it has become obvious that the process is uncontrollable>, the lawmaker emphasized.
In turn, the Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan said that the situation in the country is very complicated and can even be described as "military". <I believe that today we must show calmness and restraint. Especially in situations that are not usual for us. Panic will not help us. Either a frivolous approach to the situation, or thickening of colors, and the presentation of the situation in a negative way will only do harm. We should not create a situation where the lawmakers allegedly give advice to patients how to behave themselves'', the chairman of the parliament said.
Parliament Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan also spoke. He noticed that he periodically walks around the city, in those parts of the city where he won the election, communicates with citizens, and makes sure everyone wears masks. <I see if citizens wear masks, are there crowds of people somewhere. I urge all our lawmakers to do the same. Walk around the city, communicate with people and help our country get out of this situation>, Simonyan emphasized.
It should be noted that on June 4, an unprecedented number of 697 new cases of coronavirus infection was recorded in Armenia. In total, 11221 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the republic, 3468 people recovered, 176 died. Currently 7509 patients are receiving actual treatment.
