ArmInfo. Meetings of the Council of the Chamber of Lawyers of Armenia will be held through online broadcasts.
At the June 3 session, in the first reading, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia introduced amendments and additions to the law "On Advocacy".
As the author of the presented document noted in his speech, the deputy from the ruling bloc "My Step" Vladimir Vardanyan, the initiative proceeds from the conditions of the state of emergency introduced due to the spread of COVID-19. At the same time, according to the amendments, the meetings of the Council should be held in compliance with the requirements of the commandant's office on distance work.According to the deputy, this is done so that in the context of the coronavirus pandemic it would be easier to meet the requirements of the commandant's office within the framework of the state of emergency. As Vardanyan noted, he himself is not a supporter of telecommuting because of the frequent technical problems with communication, but in this situation, one has to make certain exceptions to prevent the further spread of infection.
