ArmInfo.Second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharan, will remain at the Izmirlyan Medical Center due to the epidemiological situation in the country.
According to the defense, the Administrative Court applied the claim to prevent attitude towards Kocharyan due to the epidemiological situation. The decision was made taking into account the fact that the former head of state continues inpatient treatment.
To recall, Robert Kocharyan was charged with overthrowing the Constitutional order in the framework of the events of March 1, 2008. On April 28, Kocharyan was transferred to the Izmirlyan Medical Center for postoperative examination, and on May 12 he was subjected to surgery. Last fall, the ex-head of state was also subjected to surgery in connection with a benign tumor. In addition, in March of this year he was hospitalized with complaints of ill health and high blood pressure, and was subsequently treated at the Erebuni Medical Center.
