Owners and employees of restaurants held a protest in front of  tgovernment

ArmInfo.The owners and employees of restaurant complexes, wedding salons, singers, musicians, host hosts held a protest in front of the government building.

The protesters are asking tDeputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran  Avinyan, Commandant  for Emergency Situations, to allow them to carry  out their activities, observing all appropriate security measures.  MPs from the Bright Armenia faction Ani Samsonian and Anna Kostanyan  joined the action. They promised to study this issue, and try, to the  best of their ability, to provide assistance.

Protesters said they had come to ask the Commandant to satisfy their  requirements. Moreover, protesters noted that Armenia cannot be  compared with other countries where similar complexes also do not  work. Since in Armenia as a rule people celebrate magnificent  weddings with a large number of guests.

The restaurant staff also emphasized that if no more than 20 people  would come to the restaurant, the work of the establishment would not  pay off. <It is more beneficial for us to remain closed than to open  and work in such a limited mode. In this situation, we would suffer  loses>, said one of the protesters.

Police officers gave the protesters the opportunity to complete the  action. After that, some of the protesters were detained. Ani  Samsonyan promised that she will deal with the issue of citizens who  were detained. The MPsuggested writing out her proposals and sending  them to the government.

In turn, Anna Kostanyan invited the heads of restaurant complexes to  appeal to the National Assembly and discuss this issue there.
