In a criminal case being  investigated in connection with the killing of two people in Gavar  and the gunshot wounds of 4 people, violence and destruction of  property by a group of people, 28 people were indicted, of which  three were wanted. This is reported by the Investigative Committee.

According to the source, out of these 28 persons, 25 are accused of  voicing calls for violence and participating in mass riots at the  Gavar Medical Center, one person is an attempted murder in the same  medical center, and two are charged with attempting to kill a group  of people on Azatutyan Street in Gavar as well as the illegal  acquisition, storage and carrying of firearms.

Earlier it was reported that as a result of operational-search  measures, 10 cars of the persons involved in the incident and the  shootout were found, as well as two weapons; Appropriate expertise  has been assigned.

Recall that on the facts of the above events, criminal cases were  instituted under part 1 of paragraph 6 part 2, Article 104 (murder),  article 235 (illegal acquisition, sale, storage, transportation or  carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices),  paragraph 1 part 2 of article 34-104 (attempted murder), part 1 of  article 185 (deliberate destruction or damage to property), part 2 of  article 225 (riot) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.  They were combined into one production and preliminary investigation,  on behalf of the chairman of the IC, carried out by a group of  investigators from the Main Investigative Directorate for  Particularly Important Cases of IC and the regional investigative  departments of Gegharkunik.

The investigation continues. Information on court decisions based on  evidence obtained will be provided periodically.

Recall that on April 28, around 17:00 in Gavar, people suspected of  committing a crime, threatening the lives of other citizens, opened  fire in the direction of residents of the Noratus community - Vahe  Avetisyan, Hrachya Harutyunyan, Armen Sargsyan, Artem Petrosyan and  Sasun Meloyan, and residents of Gavar- Zohrab Paronikyan, Armen  Aytyan and Vardan Davoyan. As a result of the shootout, investigator  Zohrab Paronikyan and his son-in-law Vahe Avetisyan were killed, the  rest were taken to "Gavar" medical center.  However, this incident  continued. On the same day, the Gavar police received a signal that a  group of people attacked the Gavar medical center, broke furniture  and glass, and also attacked David Aytyan, injuring him with a  stabbing and cutting object, as a result of which the latter fell  into a hematical shock .  As it turned out, the relatives of the  victims Z. Paronikyan and V. Avetisyan considered that A. Aytyan, D.   Aytyan and V. Davoyan. Relatives of the victims decided to kill them  by vendetta, however, police officers prevented their criminal  intentions. In the course of this incident, police officers guarding  the hospital entrances were also injured.
