ArmInfo. The facts of gas theft were revealed at the RA Health and Labor Inspection Authority.
According to the prosecutor's office, the investigation examined the process of acquiring fuel for vehicles in 2019 by the Inspectorate. It turned out that under the agreement <On the Supply of Goods for the Needs of the State>, from the same company in April and October 2019, coupons for fuel of 6620 liters and 9930 liters respectively were received. In order to ensure the normal operation of vehicles, the head of the Inspection body allocated coupons to employees in the prescribed amount. Meanwhile, during the accounting for raw materials in November of that year, a shortage of coupons for 1,870 liters of gasoline was revealed. After that, in February of the current year, from the side of the former deputy head (and the former acting head) of the Inspectorate, the corresponding petrol coupons were presented with the note "Valid until Dec 31 2020", which caused suspicions, since in reality coupons issued in 2019 did not have this mark.
Considering that during the investigation factual information was obtained on the apparent theft in 2019 by officials of the Inspectorate for Health and Labor of 1,870 liters of gasoline in the amount of about 620 thousand drams, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of paragraphs 1 and 3 of part 2 of article 179 of the Criminal Code RA. The criminal case was sent to the RA Investigative Committee.
