ArmInfo. The participation of the elected authorities of Artsakh in the negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is extremely important. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on May 16 at a press conference in Yerevan.
According to him, for 22 years, representatives of Karabakh have been ousted from the negotiation process, and this leads to problems. "We cannot make decisions without the participation of Artsakh representatives," the head of government noted. He added that various options are being discussed in the negotiations, including the possibility of introducing peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, but this is only a matter of options.
Achievement of a particular result is impossible without informing the public, the security councils of Armenia and Artsakh, and the parliaments of the Armenian republics. The Armenian authorities are not constrained in their actions on the Karabakh issue, Nikol Pashinyan noted.
